In June we hosted a panel discussion on how watershed land managers are working to make our landscape more fire resilient. We were joined by Fraser MacDonald, Natural Resource Planner at Willamalane, Brett Prasons, Natural Resource Specialist, Molly Juillerat, District Ranger for the Middle Fork Ranger District, and Justin Patten, Fire Planning Forester at Oregon Department of Forestry. These experts discussed how they are working for a fire resilient landscape, how these practices may have changed over the last several fire seasons, and what you can do to help make your own home more resilient to fire.
