Friends of Buford Park Willamette Confluence Preserve Tour

Join The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and Friends of Buford Park on a walking tour of the Willamette Confluence. The Willamette Confluence features extensive habitats that are endangered in the Willamette Valley and includes six miles of river corridor, floodplain forest, wetlands, upland oak woodlands and native prairie. The Conservancy is working with partners to reconnect the river to its historic floodplain across 20 ponds in this former gravel mining site. During this 4 mile mostly flat walking tour, volunteer docents will lead you around the Middle part of the preserve, highlighting the conservation efforts, human history, and natural wonders.
