SUMMARY:Salmon Watch Field Module Training
DESCRIPTION:If you are interested in leading a station this fall during Salmon Watch and want to experience what it is like to rotate through stations and learn from experts? Join us for the field module training this fall! This training is structured as a mock Salmon Watch trip with trainees playing the role of the student. Volunteers will learn how to guide and support student learning during Salmon Watch field trips!   \nNew volunteers are required to attend at least one training option. Volunteers who participated in the August training are welcome to join us for the field module! This training will be held on September 26th from 10 AM – 1 PM at the Carmen Smith Spawning Channel.  \nPlease register here by September 10th. Additional details will be sent post-registration\, including details for carpooling.    \nStudents engage with the trees around them during Salmon Watch at Carmen Smith Spawning Channel in 2025.
